Phangnga has geographic features of mountains and forests and is 788 km from Bangkok. Its Landmark is Khao Chang which is the big mountain in a shape of crouching elephant. The symbol of Phangnga province.

Visitors can go exploring beautiful Caves such as Ruesi Sawan cave and Luk Suea cave in Somdet Phra Sri Nakarin Park, Khao Chang road. Inside the caves is very Cool with clear beck and beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. Pung Chang cave is also one of relaxing place with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites and all-year beck.

Most famous is Phang Nga Bay National Park, a geological wonder filled with islets, sunken Caverns, and startling rock formations rising vertically out of the sea. The bay is extremely sheltered and therefore ideal for expeditions on sea kayak that explore the many fascinating caverns and Islands throughout the bay.
Phang nga’s Andaman coast offers equally stunning national parks of a different kind; the Island groups of surin and Similan are renowned for their beautiful, unspoiled Beaches and spectacular underwater scenery, attracting divers from around the world. On the Phang nga mainland, Khao Lak features a coastal park full of rare birds, exotic mammals, and scenic waterfalls, as well as many luxury and budget hotels along the spectacular coast that was devastated by the 2004 Tsunami but has since been completely rebuilt.
Visitors are also invited to participate in the turtle release fair. The 7-day EVENT is annually held in March with its highlighted activity – releasing young turtle hatchlings.

This was declared a national park in August 1991. The park occupies a vast area of 150 square kilometers and covers Amphoe Thai Muang, Amphoe Kapong, Amphoe Takua Pa, and Amphoe Muang.

Similan is a Yawi or Malay word, which means nine or a group of nine islands. This is located in Tambon Ko Phra Thong, Amphoe Khura Buri, occupying an area of 32,000 acres. It was declared a national park on 1st September 1982.

The Phang Nga National Park covers a vast area both onshore and offshore of about 250,000 rais (100,000 acres), covering the areas of Amphoe Muang, Amphoe Takua Thung, and Amphoe Ko Yao. It was declared a national park on 29th April B.E. 2524 (1981).

Khlong Sangne or Little Amazon is located in Tambon Bang Nai Si. Visitors can make a boat trip along the river and enjoy watching many animals and bird species, as well as, century-old Banyan trees that grow along the banks.

Situated in Tambon Bang Muang on Phetkasem Road, on the Thai Mueang-Takua Pa section, between Km.76-77 and going down a side road for another hundred metres. The Beach of Bang Sak has clean white sand and stretches along a grove of shady pines. Accommodation and Restaurant are available on the beach.

Ao Phang Nga National Park is located on the area of 3 districts including Tha Kua Tung, Muaeng and Ko Yoa Districts. It is the marine national park features long beaches and abundant mangroves. Its compound frames about 40 islands on the east of Phuket Island. The most outstanding landmarks are Khao Phing Kan, James Bond Island (Khao TaPu) and Sea Arch (Tham Lod).

Located in the Phang-Nga National Park, this island features a natural passage which leads into a cave containing stalagmite and stalactite formations caused by years of natural erosion. Entrance to the cave is possible by canoe, kayak or other small boat, but it should be noted that the tide and water levels are very important and should be consulted before entering. Getting there: Tourists can purchase a one-day package tour from tourist agencies in Phuket or Phang-Nga, including those located at Phang-Nga town pier, Surakul Pier and Hin Rom Pier in Takua Thung. Once the boat reaches the mouth of the cave, tourists can then switch to a canoe and enter.

It was declared a national park on July 9, 1981. The archipelago is located in the Andaman Sea, near the Thai-Burmese sea border, to the west coast of Thailand.
